'25 TN RB Daune Morris (Tennessee)

Houston trenches all graduating. Played pretty awful. Oakland trenches are also not good but they have way better coaching so this was one game where Daune could actually run inside. Had some big plays. Would've gotten MVP if he wasn't thrown out. Had 2 unsportsmanlike conduct penalities. I wouldn't look into that at all. They called double digit unsportsmanlike conduct penalities lol. Good player that has gotten a lot better from last year with his added strength imo

Second or third year playing Houston in the final right? I'm sure it was chippy

Houston is the trashiest program in TN.

Farragut would beat them in baseball every year in the state tourney and they finally got “FF” shirts for practice one year. (**** Farragut)

Just a trash program overall. I’d be curious to know how many State Championships they get to but come up short. I bet they lead the state in runner-ups lol

They beat Oakland last year in the State Championship.
And they beat Whitehaven when Eason, McDonald was there

So that’s at least 2 State Championships in the past 5 years. 🙄

And I have no affiliation with Houston HS.

Never said they didn’t win.

I said they probably lead in “state runner-ups”

That’s just a petty and small thing to say being that they’ve won two State Championships in the most recent history.

Kind of like clamoring for a 3 star RB to come to your SEC team because they 1,000 yards rushing in AAC haha…

Counted 3 in baseball alone, so not a lot.

I think I counted 1-2 in football.

It’s not a petty thing to say, it’s actually compliment. They at least get to the championship…

Tulane RB? He’s better than anyone on our roster. Lol

Just got tossed from the game. Went for 150+ and 3 TDs tonight.

Think he also had 2 called back. Love his field presence and vision m, especially with his burst once he sees the hole. Pass routes and catching make him immensely versatile. I am thrilled with AND appreciate our staff pulling off the late flip. My untrained eye sees a HIGH ceiling.

It’s comical that he’s a 3*.

Double digit unsportsmanlike penalties? Sheesh.

Melrose rate right up with Houston being dirty and the refs were terrible. They let too much kicking twisting ankles and slugging Macon Co. players after the plays were over. I don’t understand how some of these officials got a
championship game.
