Great catch, apologize for missing that.Jordan's first run was also 18 yards. Take that out and he had 12 runs for 8 yards
3 Pre-season All-SEC watch on the DL...I just want to point out that Auburn really does have an excellent DL and LB group. This factors into the struggle with the run this week. I like the use of the backs so far. Loved seeing the deep passes to backs this week. That means our online is protecting well enough to send a back out of protection. I dig it. We gonna keep improving.
Which doesn't make him the second best back on the team
i dont' think anyone is mad that we couldn't.3 Pre-season All-SEC watch on the DL...
I'm super not mad we can't run on Auburn
I get what you're saying. His attitude is definitely inspiring, but the fumbles are as equally disheartening. Tennessee definitely did not need anything disheartening yesterday.Talent wise, I think he is. The 'whole package'? Maybe not, which sounds like what you're saying and that's fair to say.
Most teams have a guy that inspires with their play and attitude. You live with the bad because what they do for the team as a whole outweighs that. Is Banks that guy? I don't know. I think he's shown flashes of it, but my opinion is not the one that matters.

Well apparently the coaches don't trust him enough to put him in yet and I for one was very happy to see us using Chandler more and in different ways. I do hope Banks gets it fixed cause he is a powerful runner but he is killing us with a fumble a game.
I have never been to either but I imagine a lot more people visit London. I bet the weather is much better in Jordan.
The vision typically is something that improves, much like maturity. During the WV game, Jordan showed out, but what now? If you want to talk vision, Banks has zero vision but the teeth of the defender. Banks and JJ are my two favorite players on offense, but how many times would Banks have broke it just by the slightest juke, but instead trucked the defender and go down? Jauan as I've stated in the "What's wrong with JJ" thread, is a dog and the hardest player to tackle in the receiving corps. What happens when he fights too hard for 2 more yards and gets stripped, injured, or fails to reach the 1st down marker? Will the same be said? Jordan won't get better riding the bench. This problem is fixed with playtime and maturity. This is the same TJ that gashed WV. He dinked when he shoulda dunked. Big deal. We won and he learned. There's truth here but Jordan has no vision and makes bad decisions. No way he should be getting as many touches as he is.
I have a related idea. Make him carry a tomcat to all classes and everything. If he comes back without the cat he has to run stadium stepsI remember a movie and it could have really happened somewhere, get him to carry the football around campus to classes and let everybody (players) try and knock it out all day. Hey practice makes perfect.

My husband said the coaches made their star RB do this for a week and told everyone to try to make him drop it. He did get better at hanging onto the ball.Went to high school in Ohio. One of the dominate teams we played, Troy H.S., did this. They had a stud RB named Gordon Bell who went on to play at Michigan. Bell fumbled once...and only once my senior year. He had to carry the ball everywhere he went for a week. If the coaches caught you without it, you sat the next game. Also, same was said if you dropped it...and everyone always tried to knock it out of your hands. Definitely worked for him. Think Banks could benefit from the same.
The Vols appear to be a real threat to the Wolverines. Gray took his official visit to Knoxville last month, and he has remained in contact with the Tennessee staff. Ole Miss is in this too, but based on what I am hearing, Tennessee may be the one program Michigan is most worried about.
