i don't think it matters as much as some think, especially to OL and some skill players. i could see some RB's, WR's and QB's backing off, especiall since with some of those guys, they already have relationships built with the former OC.
in our case, i think pruitt has done a good job recruiting and communicating, and for hte most part, a lot of these kids' primary recruiters wasn't Helton....
plus i still think that whatever "plan" there is, it's being communicated with recruits, even if specifics aren't being discussed (names etc...)
yeah, i think one thing is pretty safe to say, whatever Pruitt is saying about how he wants the offense to be run, is how it's going to be run...and you have this OC search as exhibit A of that.Agreed, I would imagine they're still selling the vision of the offense and how the kid would be used, just without a name attached to it.
Will be in ktown this weekend...

Just spoke with four-star running back Eric Gray’s father, and after a busy week of in-home visits, it sounds like Gray and his family have decided not to visit anywhere this weekend. We will see if that changes tomorrow, but right now Gray’s plan is to just sit at home this weekend and make sure he feels comfortable with the decision he’s planning to announce on Wednesday.
Sounds like he already has a pretty good idea of where he’s going, but he will spend the weekend thinking about it and make sure that’s what he wants to do. As we’ve said for weeks, all signs still point to Tennessee being in good shape with Gray despite the Vols’ offensive-coordinator vacancy. Gray and his family have been watching that situation closely, but I don’t think it’s going to steer him away from the Vols even if a new OC isn’t in place before Wednesday.
