Don't blame Fulmer. He was the only one telling Cobb the truth. Cobb wanted to be a QB and Fulmer told him he was going to be an NFL receiver. Guess what... Played QB for like 3 games at UK and then switched to WR. The rest is history.

UT did make a run at Cobb late in the high school season. I remember seeing UT coaches at an Alcoa game on the news one night. Pretty sure it was Chavis of all people, but it was way too late to flip him

You are so right. I don't know how many times folks have to debunk the myth that UT didn't recruit Cobb but they didn't lie to him so he went elsewhere.

From what i have been told, coming from his grandfather, Cobb wanted to be a VOL all his life. He was a huge standout in our back yard and we didnt recruit him until late into his senior season and he was already comfortable with/at Kentucky and didn't want to start all over. Was also, in my opinion, a little hurt it took us so long to recruit him.

UK also gave him a shot at QB, which Fulmer wouldn't promise. Fulmer saw him as a WR. Guess he was right.

Another running back from the state of Tennessee, Hodge is a class of 2020 prospect with great size for and a hard running style that make him tough to bring down. Right now, he only has major offers from Tennessee and Louisville, but after coaches get a chance to see his film it’s going to be hard for several other programs that feature a big back not to offer. Expect him to move up the charts at his position when it comes time for the next rankings update.

you'd think they'd throw a jersey shade layer over the top of it at least :/

to do it right they'd have a distortion mesh but apparently, that's asking a lot
