Kid has crazy number of sacks. I assume competition not great as I watch a small bit of his Hudl and it wasn’t really what I was expecting to see for someone with those numbers. Kind of just waits and hops around and dodges people instead of physically imposing his will on them. I didn’t watch whole thing though so maybe it gets better. I trust a Stoops eval though for an edge guy

Tennessee made the top three for Greenbrier defensive lineman Nathan Robinson. We felt like Tennessee was probably running third out of those three favorites but after talking extensively to Robinson on Monday, we believe the Vols are on equal footing with Ole Miss and Kentucky. He will be in town on March 5th for the second Junior Day. Most of Robinson‘s family are Auburn grads which makes him very familiar with Rodney Garner.

They also said in a recent podcast that TN is not recruiting him as hard as Ole Miss and Kentucky are, but AP said it hasn't mattered.

He keeps his eye on the ball carrier really well but I think it’s more because the competition is so weak they don’t hit him. Also didn‘t see him smash anyone.

he is very good at stripping the ball, if you go back & rewatch the views about half the time when we gets a sack he pulls the ball out.

Having played last season at just over 220 pounds, the Greenbrier Tennessee native has bulked up with his dad now helping lead the strength program at his high school. At 265 pounds, he recently tweeted a video of him squatting 455 pounds. Tennessee is joined by Kentucky and Ole Miss at the top for Robinson. He made it up to a game last fall and clearly really likes Rodney Garner. This will be a big weekend to help build momentum with him.

Looks like a very good athlete but plays too high. Hopefully he's worked on his lower body power and weight. Raw but plays hard and pretty fast for a bigger guy.

told me a couple weeks ago he was 270 something now, training harder now that his wrist is healthy

Teenager with a wrist injury...

Coming off his latest visit to Tennessee earlier this month, one of the Vols' in-state targets already is planning to make two more trips to Knoxville within the next few weeks. Class of 2023 defensive lineman Nathan Robinson of Greenbrier (Tenn.) High School posted on his Twitter account that he's scheduled to visit the Vols on Saturday and again on April 9.

If we aren’t recruiting him as hard as UK and Ole Miss are we sure we want him or is he being slow played as a backup?
