‘23 TN SDE Trevor Duncan (Tennessee commit)

He may end up on the OL at some point but I know for a fact that he's going to get every opportunity to play DL. IMO, he's a steal because he could be a 2 for 1 like Mal Jackson was.

I think this is the correct take. He's being brought in as a DL. But, with the talent we're bringing in at DL now, there is a good possibility that he moves to OT at some point. His high school coach has said that his highest upside is at OT. Sometimes, you just bring a kid in and let it play out. None of us, including the coaches, know where he'll ultimately land right now. But I do think he's being brought in as a DL initially.

Just now watched Duncan tape from last year first thing he is a step quicker than Robinson. So he may stick at DE and like Robinson they both love football and contact so have a chance to stick as 3 4 Tech. But to me I see this kid as well as Nathan being good OL down the line. When Fulmer was at his best as OL Coach he loved these type of kids DL from High School but a step slow for SEC DL but i can help you become All SEC OL. We will see and I am glad we have Trevor and Nathan committed . In CHRIST Alone.

I haven’t talked to his trainer in a couple of months, but at that time he was about 278 and carried less than 5% body fat.
if he's under 12% at that weight than he's an absolute beast. because that's a lot of pure muscle.

5% is like Usain Bolt for reference.

Not knocking what you were told, but less than 5% is like competition bodybuilder body fat.
That is exact what he looks like. There was a picture of him posted somewhere on here last Spring and he looked like the old pictures of Charles Atlas. I don’t know how he will hold up against SEC competition, but I am not aware he had any problems in high school.

Everyone keeps talking about the talent we are bringing in on the DL, but I think this dude is not far off from say Hobbs. Both athletic freaks who can line up at DE and slide inside on passing downs. If you can retain athleticism, being 285+ is only a benefit.

You are using the most freakish bodybuilder EVER as an example. Coleman is the exception, not the rule.
The majority compete in the 3%-4% range.
He also didn’t compete at 1%. He’s be dead. Guys get on stage at 4-5 typically. Ronnie was just a hell of a lot bigger and symmetrical at 4-5 than his competition.

Already close to 280 and looks like he can add a lot of weight. He also has close to an 84" wingspan.... 😱

I mean, this kid's body type, frame, potential to add weight, athleticism and wingspan just scream future NFL Left Tackle. I know, I know, we've had this debate and we'll just have to wait and see, but man, it seems like that's where the future money lies for him.
