'21 TN TE Hudson Wolfe (Ole Miss commit)

If this is really his dream job and wants to get back in the SEC even not as a HC I just can’t see if passing the opportunity to . Idk maybe I’m star gazing and have this dream we will finally make moves that result in wins and not maybes and failures .

This dream job stuff is overblown. That’s just him looking to land bigger offers.

And even if it is his dream job, it’s the HC position he desires, not OC under a coach who has a worse record than him coaching in the same conference.

He wants to get back in the SEC...as a HC. There will be plenty of opportunities.

Kiffin will be the key beneficiary of us struggling and a booming 22 instate class. I worry he will raid the state next yr
Sigh. I cannot believe Im about to say this, because I do NOT like him. With Kiffshit you have to fight fire with fire, or, ice in this instance. Freeze is the answer to Kiff.

I respect Larry's insight. But if y'all dont think Randy and Phillip have say in this, you're either highway dreamin' or delusional.
I don’t disagree, however, whoever is supplying the money is going to make the decision. Because it is going to be a lot of money if we hire a new coach.

This is just like the Tee Higgins and Cade Mays de-commitments from 2016-17. You have a talented, in-state player who wanted to come here but he is understandably concerned about the direction and stability of the program and the incompetence of the offense. I didn't blame Higgins and I don't blame this guy either. He is doing what is best for his career. Tennessee football is unreliable with horrific leadership. The cast of characters changes... but the results never do.

So is he suggesting that Phil’s time as AD is nearing an end? If so, will it be voluntarily or is he being forced out by the powers above?
I think he’s saying that Fulmer isn’t firing Pruitt. He wants to keep him. They’re tied together. If Pruitt is fired the decision will come from above Fulmer and he will likely be gone as well.

How stubborn and proud is Fulmer that he would risk getting canned a second time by the place he loves because he won’t make tough decisions? Just wow

I’ll get flamed for this, but he might still believe in Pruitt (I have no idea either way)

You may be right, which is the scary part. What does a HOF coach like Fulmer see in Pruitt that makes him believe that things are going to get turned around after this recruiting class implodes? It just feels like we are in the same boat as USCw was last season.
