...except for Alabama. Oh, and Oklahoma. Ohio State looks like that too. And probably Penn State. Georgia looks like they could be good for a while. And Auburn has done some good things. Tennessee looks like Clemson before they started their run. I should also say. Texas looks to be getting its legs again. But other than them, and Oregon and USC, nobody. Did I mention LSU?

You’re the one that’s saying Clemson “owns the state” when
1. The 2 schools haven’t played since 2003
2. We’ve signed 7 times the players from the state Clemson has since Pruitt was hired
3. The 2 guys they signed (Kane Patterson, Bryn Tucker) we never actively pursued.

Clemson has it going now. They can almost guarantee recruits that they'll play in the playoff, every year. They play in a trash, worthless conference with a very low probability of losing a game. Schedule one decent power 5 out of conference game. Win it and you pretty much go undefeated. Add to that with having a 11 game practice schedule all year, you can rest your starters each game and they're not beat up come December. Another bonus is that your backups get meaningful playing time. Plus, they have one of the highest salary caps in college football.
