I would have preferred to have retaken the field immediately while the momentum was ours, but pushing the game back certainly makes sense given the lateness of the hour.

very disappointed that we didn't play last night but understand that it was getting extremely late and the kids had to be tired... I was but the kids were playing on adrenaline!

but as a team.... we were pretty pumped up last night and had the momemtum and Oklahoma on the ropes. they only have one good pitcher and she was gassed and we were starting to have some success against her...

by delaying the game... it allows OU pitcher to get much needed rest.... but I also hope it allowed Ellen to be fresh and ready to go Today!

Hoping for a big win and a chance to extend the season for three awesome Seniors and the rest of the Lady Vol softball team.... the WCWS would be a perfect way for the Lady Vols to send off our Seniors and valuable experiences for the underclassmen.

I agree, I thought they had the momentum and would have preferred they kept on playing.

I too think the Vols might have had a slight edge in the Mo(momentum) department had they kept playing--but you can't argue with a decision not to start a game at 12:30 or later in the morning! The kids will have to go and win today. We're not hitting much--that has to change if we expect to win.

That very last line is the key. I don't expect a championship, I just want these freshman to get more experience.

I am hoping the team will show patience at the plate today. I think their best pitcher is very hittable and we should have some idea how to approach her style after seeing her twice. I hope we can get the bats going score a lot of runs and move on the the Championship series.

Same here. We had a notable emotional edge that could have carried over into the next game. Plus, Renfro had good stuff last night and I believe she would have been solid in the second game.

Regardless, I'm excited for today.
