I agree. It just seems to me that Dane gets an inordinate amount of the credit for the team's success. The fun thing would be to see Thomas and Williams play against each other.

No one plays harder than Dane. It makes up for his athletic disadvantages at the position he's having to play with hardwork and hustle. I love it.

It's more like Dane is usually like the Vols' equivalent of that autistic HS trainer they showed on ESPN this week: He's mostly just around being proud to wear the colors until the last minutes of the game- then every now and then at the very end he suddenly gets a wild hair, brushes back his Brady Bunch perm, and decides he has god-like powers and can do no wrong... and doesn't.

The vols need Dane. He plays with a lot of heart. They also need all the players. No one man can carry the team. Each one of our players have helped win games.
