'24 TN WR Amari Jefferson (Alabama commit)

Bama Baseball < Tennessee Baseball in EVERY way, shape & form...'SPECIALLY after the last 10 months...

so if the kid is serious at ALL about baseball...he's ALL VOL!
He said it was mostly a football decision. Interview seemed to be all Bama to me but who knows maybe this has all been the greatest troll job this year by a recruit.

I’ve always thought Tennessee had some advantages here. None of them are baseball related really. If he’s the football player we think, I’d honestly be surprised if he sticks with baseball too long. If he ends up here I hope he will. If not who cares.

AP said he’s a Bama lean.

Not sure what changed all the sudden
Hopefully this is what has happened.
We've gotten our fair share of good players but have lost some last second coin flips. Maybe this time we're the one kicking in the nuts rather than the one being kicked in the nuts

Idk man. I think your opinion is swayed by our offensive genius HC’s scheme and some historic performances from Vols vs that D.

They gave up 18.2 ppg (good for 10th in the country and 2nd in SEC) and specifically to look at secondary 187.8 pass ypg (17th in country, 3rd in SEC behind A&M and UK and much better than UGA who was 54th in country).

In big games, they gave up 52 & 32. They’d give up more vs Texas if the QB wasn’t hurt. Kiffin scored 24 but should have scored more. They dominate weaker teams to keep the Ave down

Bama really doesn’t make a lot of sense. They are rebuilding their offense to a more physical brand but who knows how that will work. With Tennessee, you know what the offense is and that it works. If it’s just about playing for Saban, hell, just do it.

He used to be in school in the building with Butch. He went to a Chattanooga school in high school. Good guy but has moved on but still knows people he was there with.
Yep I remember those days. I believe he’s talked about not having as much info these days in some baseball threads. I could be mistaken on that…my memory only consists of what my wife reminds me of 3-10 times a day.

If Amari does commit to us, we’ll be at 5th with 263.67 points. Just 3 points behind Michigan with what would be 6 less recruits at that time

Either way I am glad the saga ends on the 5th. This one has made me weary. I prefer those that are all in. The lack of Boo action late has me prepared to simply move on.

When it changes from one team to another 3 days before the commitment it means something.

Not trying to be argumentative here. But have you seen this happen before? Have you seen the RPM change this close to a commit date and that recruit actually picks the school he is predicted to?
