'24 TN WR Amari Jefferson (Tennessee)

As far as I’m concerned he can kick rocks. Chose bammer over us and then sat the bench and now wants to come to UT, nah bro
I watched several of his games at Baylor and he was a most impressive WR in those games. I thought he was as good as any H S receiver I’d ever seen. I was disappointed he didn’t choose Vols from Baylor but sure would take him now. His athleticism is impressive. IMO. Unless he has taken a serious backslide for some reason he will be an asset.

I would trade you for him. Jk but he is young and made a dumb decision.

Agreed but not sure it’s uneven. If a guy is unhappy and doesn’t want to be here, it doesn’t matter how talented they are, they won’t help the team. Best to get a guy who wants to be here…
Despite the oft cited "Heup don't play freshman", Boo was on the field a bunch. If MM wasn't on the field, even with the injuries and poor play, there is more to the story than simple talent.

Matthews is gone, let's welcome Jefferson. Matthews couldn't crack the rotation, does anybody think CJH wouldn't have played him if he was better than what played in front of him?

I bet you didn’t feel this way a couple years ago when Alvin Kamara was playing for us after originally choosing Bama over us
To be fair Kamara is from Bama and played Juco before coming to Tennessee. This kid is from Tennessee and chose Bama first.
