Some of our fans mindset is if you don’t perform at all conference level your freshman year then it you suck and need to be replaced. Players obviously don’t get better after their freshman year….Is it a red flag that Braylon Staley didn’t play? I mean come on. They’re both redshirt freshmen and have 4 years to play. Idk why everybody is in such a rush to say no to such a talented kid
Don’t let facts ruin our narrative. We scored less than Oregon against Ohio State. Our offense is the worst in history and the CFB playoff committee will never pick us again
The committee will change and so will the narrative on selection. Why do people create weird scenarios? Drama, Child's play, trolling? or just for the fun of it?Don’t let facts ruin our narrative. Numerous people also think Alabama, South Carolina, and Ole Miss, Miami belonged in the CFPSome are just that insane. Numerous people claimed our defeat would change the playoff committees criteria moving forward and how they perceived us.
Regarding Jefferson, I think he probably would've played some garbage time in cupcake games later in the season (i.e., Mercer) if he hadn't had the hip surgery after the Vandy game. So the hip issue (which is fine now...he will participate in Spring), combined with a loaded WR room is the reason he didn't play. It's not because he's not talented.I seem to remember Hyatt didn't do much as a freshman and he didn't have a stacked WR room ahead of him like Bama does...
