'20 TN WR Darin Turner (Arkansas committ)

😂 at Brandon Martin on the RTI podcast a few weeks back raving about this kid and how the staff absolutely had to go after him and sign him because we don’t have big receivers. Then the next podcast raving about him again and saying we need to bring him here and convert him to TE.

Always funny when kids like Turner and the linebacker who went to Mizzou last year pull stunts like this. You're not some big time player who had his pick of the litter you went to the last school who would take you

Turner had an impressive offer sheet that included the likes of Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Ole Miss and Tennessee, but he never managed to find the field with the Razorbacks. In fact, the Memphis, Tenn., product found himself buried on the depth chart, falling behind multiple walk-ons.
Although his departure has very little on-field impact for Arkansas, Turner is the Razorbacks’ seventh transfer. That is key because now the staff will have access to all 28 scholarships for the 2022 class, thanks to the NCAA’s one-year waiver that allows up to seven extra spots to replace transfers.

Oooof

Also the only thing I remember about this kids recruitment is how hard in the paint Brandon Martin of VR2 went for him. We had to get him! Must have!
