'22 TN WR Isaiah Horton (Miami Transfer)

Wrong. It’s going to be Miami as of right now

I'll have to see that to believe it. Don't take that as a shot at you because I don't mean it that way at all. I'm just of the belief that this kid is going to be a Vol. Naturally, I'm going to keep the cup on because I've learned to never take it off.

Never put all your chips in on what 1 guy says, just don't do it, ever.

Because he’s telling us what someone that does recruiting for a living said about a recruit?
You all don’t take bad news well at all. Toughen up. It’s not all rainbows and sunshine
It depends on what was said….. did Matt ray say he was gone or was it more like AP said and that was BGS negative interpretation of what was said….

Slander. Sue him.
Coaches lie to recruits all the time. In addition, I do not think the NCAA will ever punish with the “death” penalty. If recruits are dumb enough to believe that crap, we don’t need them anyway. They would never learn how the game should be played.

wr is the position I am least worried about. Between what we have and how active the portal is for wrs...recruit the lines. That's where it matters.
I agree….. my biggest worries in linebacker and defensive backs right….. I feel our offensive line will be good and feel that Garner will bring us some good defensive linemen.

agreed but from an in state and outside perspective getting a 4 star player helps recruit other players. otherwise it isnt a big loss imo. hope he ends up; still think he ends up in Orange.

Squirrel White has the speed.

Long term smart decision is TN. Way more benefits for him to stay in state than Miami. Hopefully staff is really pushing the fanbase comparison/following. Offense system is a wash but I would trust Heupel more with a system that is proven over several years and different QBs instead of a journeyman OC that only real big year was last yr when he hit jackpot on a QB transfer. I believe the success has been more tied to King than Lashlee

Speaking of Horton, Tennessee has trended well there over the last month but Miami isn’t making things easy. They have been pressing Horton hard with plenty of love and an NIL pitch with their recent south Florida business committing to pay the members of the football team. Horton is scheduled to announce his school on July 28.

Agreed. Heupel is a king maker and whatever receivers we do get will be productive. We’re still in on some good ones.

I want Horton - don’t get me wrong. Both because he’s talented and also because of optics. But if we didn’t it’d be fine.
