it's possible. And Warren has been 250 for 2 seasons now. So he gained that 39 lbs in about 2+ years.

This kid is a decent athlete. I'd prefer the Bolton kid who's already 225 get a look at TE first. But i think it would be awesome if this kid actually contributes in 3 years.
It's not impossible, but they have very different frames. They have Bolton at LB right now. I agree, judging from high school performance, that he could contribute on offense. I just think it would have to be in a true H-back/fullback role. I don't know if he would ever play or excel in a traditional TE capacity.

Bolton was an animal at TE for Lausanne.

I think he had two different tapes.

But the one where he's lined up at WR and TE, he looked fantastic. Better than Warren did while at Farragut. That's what got me excited about him maybe making the depth chart at LB. But now...with those animals they brought in for 2023, I don't think so anymore.

Bolton is only 6'2" though. That's why I think he could do some of the H-back/fullback type stuff that Princeton Fant did this season, but not flex out or be an in- line TE.

I think he's 6'3. I don't know for sure.
But look at that tape.

Bolton is one the best looking walk-ons I've seen sign with UT.
I think he had a punt blocked last year too.
I agree he could be an HB, but also absoultely line up out wide.

His UT bio has him at 6'2". He is a great looking prospect for a PWO. It's just with the talent they are bringing in, I don't know if he'll find a role beyond special teams. Unless it's as an H-back. Even that role may be hard to fill if Echols sticks to his commitment.
