Giving to much credit here to Clemson.the ACC is weak and they almost lost to UNC last year. Clemson is good but not that good and they are very beatable during the season...Dabo looks good in bowl prep because he has months to prepare for any team and any good coach with that amount of time can perform well.Same thing can be said about Saban that’s just way to long and it makes them hard to beat.

You don’t have to like Dabo but he’s grown into a good head coach. Putting a good staff together and keeping it together helps a lot but he had to do that and maintain it. All good teams can have a scare game like UNC was last year for them. Hard to get guys up every week. In 98 we had a scare game or two where we needed some fortune. Last year UNC was not an awful team. Still was a bowl team. He wasn’t a good coach when he started but has developed. Still a bit goofy but he’s from Alabama and that explains it. Will give him his due.
