TN WR Trey Knox

He is an ok player at best and he didn't choose Heupel and the Vols when he could. I don't see our coach reaching out to Mr. Knox. I think the guy we just signed from the portal for the tight-end spot is a better option. We shall see. Go Vols.
Is this the transfer portal version of “didn’t want him anyway”?

Not really. I watched him this year and he is a good player not a great player. I was just saying…..I think we are ok at the position with him or without him. He turned us down once…..so why waste our time. Just saying.

We are okay at the position if Warren comes back. If not, we're hurting there.

He didn't turn Heupel down.

No worries. I'm just messing with you.

Except he didn’t turn us down. Pruitt wouldn’t take his commitment.

Yes I’m sure. I talked to him 4 days after the UF game that year, which was his official, and he said TN was the plan. Roughly a week later he picked Arkansas. The guys at Volquest agreed it wasn’t his choice.

Tn wanted him to play tight end. He wanted to play wr. That's why he went to Arkansas.

He's decent, has nice speed for the position. But his blocking for a TE is pretty subpar and he directly caused two interceptions this year after the ball bounced off of his hands. After his freshman year I thought he was going to be a really good WR but it never really clicked and he showed glimpses after bulking up for TE but it was a mixed bag.

I liked Fant he will probably be a fullback in the NFL.
Fant is a great story as well!
Pretty sure back in the Butch days he was a highly sought after WR. He did something to his leg and most schools backed off.
He has been a big contributer to this program and I hope he has a very nice carrier in the NFL.
Number 88 will always be one of my favorite VFLs!
