I'm glad everyone is on board now, but all I have to say is..... it's been nice being right all along. I'll never have to take back my prediction that the Vols would make the Elite Eight. If they make the Final Four, well, I guess I was wrong. But, I never called the coach or players names, and find it amazing that one guy gloating about a win is being compared to months and months and months of the complete debasing of a whole group of FANS that supported the team and the coach. "Pearl Slurpers" anyone? I've embraced the "dig" and hope you guys can embrace how wrong you've all been, collectively, as well.

I love that several showed up to cry in a thread mocking haters. They self identified . Ring leader has not done the mea culpa on Pearl and coaching and players though. Once he beats izzo. And gets stud talent in recruiting wise there will be tumbleweeds and desperate law students looking for work left in the Pearl hater camp

Yeah this negative stuff isn't good for anybody. It's best to just let it go. Enjoy this historic victory, like everyone else in Vol country is doing, including doubters, longtime fanatics, football players, newbies, etc. Who cares? This is history, man. Everything that has been said up to this point is moot.

See, that's the issue. Other than my personal distaste for Pearl, which wouldn't change if he broke Wooden's record for championships, I'm not sure myself, BPV, et al, have been wrong at all about the core issue. In fact, the numbers say we're right. When UT was playing Pearl's preferred garbage style of basketball, which his slurpers so loved and defended, UT was getting blown out by Louisville and losing to the likes of Wichita State and Oklahoma State in the NCAA Tournament. Now, forced by necessity to play actual basketball instead of something resembling a carnival game, look where UT is. The only thing we really missed on was that Pearl would sublimate his ego and scrap his trash system.

Great Post. I just made a thread saying the samething-ish because I didn't know this one was here. Either way I want to hear some of them come forward and say they were wrong.

The idea of a man who sang the praises of Arizona, NC State, Virginia, DePaul, and Charlotte talking about people being wrong is priceless.

Only when the fools who argued pressing all the time and chucking 33 threes against a team of midgets is a good thing admit that the scrapping of the "controlled chaos" idiocy is the main reason this team is here.

Preach, brother Vol! I have been wrong alot in my predictions, but I posted before the osu game that we would win by 5. Hey, I was'nt 2 far off, lol. As far as the naysayers, oh well. I'm proud of this team and cheer regardless. GO VOLS BEAT msu.
