So much respect for you're support. No doubt some who made the trip, didnt have the money to spare, but went anyway to support the team. I genuinely feel sorry for all who made the trip, especially those mentioned earlier. The team and staff clearly didnt deserve that type support. The game was flat out embarrassing. Like college against high school. I expect Heupel to apologize to the fans in his post game comments. If he doesn''t I will lose all respect for him.

lol, we are down to 2 healthy receivers who aren’t true freshmen, we were forced to play Jackson Lampley after he had been pretty much a career benchwarmer for 5 years, and our SEC POY RB who was basically half the offense got hurt too.

Injuries basically took the team down the same path as the Braves. Promising season that ran out of gas…because, well, the team quite literally ran out of gas.

No, Heupel does not owe anybody an apology. This game was always going to be a tough row to hoe.

He is a good coach. He is not a miracle worker who can turn chicken fecal matter into chicken salad.

OSU is obviously more talented. I thought Ryan Williams was the best WR in the last 10 years until tonight. Smith is better and BIGGER.

And OSU was an angry football team.

But UT’s effort / execution / and coaching was unacceptable.

Tonight is why - along with BVS - I avoid away games.
Smith is going to be the first wr drafted #1 overall since 1996 when he is eligible to come out. Incredible talent. Even McCoy who is probably our best cover corner of the post Fulmer era couldn’t hang with him.

It was a fun experience for sure. One thing we proved is we have the best fan base in the country and everyone that made it, awesome job, we did our part for sure. Only year 4, room for criticism and room to be optimistic. Offense needs some coach change. GBO🍊

No, the d1ckless wonder defense, tonight, is what cost us. Offense was already in 7-0 right away and then 21-0 before we could blink. I noticed our offense plays bad after a poor defensive outing.

I don’t regret the trip. Im just highly disappointed, but my love for the Vols will never die.
OSU fans definitely recognized VolNation and I heard plenty of compliments about how many we brought. Everyone I spoke to said they’d never seen this many opposing fans show up. We definitely did our part.
Just left the stadium. Very disappointing.
What were all those chants beyond SEC, and how were the fans before during after the game. Curious as I hear so much bad about them when they win

For the most part their fans were very classy. There were a few younger douches that were drunk. Also I smelled more weed in that stadium than I have ever smelled in a college football game.

Excuses are just that, EXCUsES! That OsU OL had a bunch of benchwarmers playing on it and yet absolutely manhandled our DL, many teams across country use Freshman WR and yet you want to make excuses that we were down to that also? Nevermind the fact they are now 13 games into the season, they are freshman in name only. Face it, we got outcoached, out hustled and just flat manhandled! Coaching was a big part of that, heck maybe we need to hire their OL coach because he made chicken salad out of chicken fecal matter!

We had a couple of “interactions” at the bar before the game and a couple of douche’s in the stadium but overall it was 95/5 good. Most the OSU fans rallied around us in the stadium and apologized for the bad apples. We got the random F-you just walking down the road which was annoying but kind of expected.

I've been to plenty of away game losses, but it's also exciting to be part of the few there to support the team when they get that unexpected win.

This is one of the top 5 posts that I’ve ever seen on VN.
The defense was a disappointment but I’m not sure that it was a surprise. If our Dline doesn’t affect the qb, our secondary can’t hold up, it’s been the case all year.
We knew this coming into the season, it will get better.
So many people on this board have no idea or seem to forget where the program was 5 or 6 years ago.
Success doesn’t happen overnight.
This one stings and hurts tonight but it’s still a great time to be a Vol
