The smack talk nature of your posts about the election makes it just odd to me.

We're talking about an election that to some degree impacts our future, not the outcome a UT / UF football game.

I believe that DA has bought the "95% of you get tax cuts" line.

I believe that the vast majority of Obama voters buy into it and the majority of those believers wouldn't really be impacted either way.

True, and he continues to add the 40% of people that do not pay ANY taxes now, into that number. An IQ test would be nice for a voter registration card.

You don't understand those people who don't pay taxes are the "real americans" and they are on "main street" and they are far more important than us "fat cats" who actually have jobs and pay taxes.

DAVOL,
I assume from your signature, that you are Jewish. If true, that alone should cause a vote for McCain from you sir. Unless the promised land of your people does not matter to you. (yea, I am going there to try and bring some intellegence into your vote)

I'm sure I've talked smack and poked fun, but not the gloating over a victory like our football team won something.

We're about to elect an utterly inexperienced, pacifist, socialist president because he's not Bush. It's not because of a belief in anything he has ever done or shown. It's because he isn't GW Bush. The international financial markets shutter at the idea of another Carter admin and you're gloating like a drunk redneck after we beat Alabama. I just don't understand that.

That doesn't relieve you of your responsiblity as a US citzen to make your voting decision bassed upon what is best for the country instead of current pop culture.

Are you saying people did not gloat on your side in 2000 and 2004(How about the morons that kept breaking into the recount offices interrupting thre recount process) I may be doing it prematurely but even if Obama somehow loses it is almost impossible for us to lose the senate and the house so at worst we will have split gov.

Could have said the same to you in 2000 since noone wanted to have a beer with Gore.

And YOUR gloom and doom is ALL based on your opinion. You have no clue as to whether or not this man will be successful. What you think you know to be true, might not be, BPV. There is simply no indication he is going to fail as you suggest. You are a conservative republican and he stands for everything you hate. That is the premise of your beliefs and that only. If the truth were to be told, you were probably against him long before you knew his stances on healthcare, energy and homeland security. I will be the first one to say you are an intelligent man, but that doesn't mean for one second your predictions on his failure have any merit. Whether anyone likes hearing it or not, taxes will HAVE to be raised to get this government back on track. AND a cut in spending. Obama will do both

I don't care who gloated when. I'm saying that I don't understand acting like it's the outcome of a football game.

We're talking about the guy who is going to be the international face of America. The guy you're advocating has no relevant leadership experience. He has risen to acclaim based on his contempt for the war in Iraq and the fact that he might be our first black president. That is not presidential. That is simply guessing right on a political issue and taking advantage of our liberal media.

I don't like either of the options to take the job, but McCain is clearly more experienced and has shown the capacity to think independently of his party. I feel like we're stuck with garbage at the helm either way and you're cheering about it. That's what I don't understand.

How does it help you in the least for us to have both legislative and exec branches in the hands of the left?
