To Protect and to Serve II

The same as for anyone else. You can sue them if you believe they violated civil rights outside of the law.
It takes a person with power or authority to violate someone's civil rights. Your average street goon can't deprive you of your Constitutional rights. All they can do is rob you or whip your azz

Don’t drink and use drugs and drive. You have nothing to worry about

They would be sued and fired if there really were civil rights violations.
If they illegally seize someone’s blood they should be happy to just get fired.

But that’s not what I’m asking.

They followed the rules, they seized the blood, and whoops. Mistake. He was clean the whole time. This is your 1 in 10,000 you alluded to.

Ras you make an contract with the state when you take their license that subjects you to all the civil obligations and yes, the right to be stopped anytime they have pc.
Here is the problem, for lack of a better term, we are seeing mission creep. We're seeing more and more gradual intrusion into how they conduct their business. Blood drawing is a step too far and it is going in the wrong direction. So now, that opens the door for even more intrusive measures in the name of safety. And we have already seen how far they are willing to go in the name of safety with regards to COVID.

Then they could be sued. Again

Jesus again with forced Covid vaccine conspiracy

You need a car to make a living... and the state knows this. That's why the feel compelled to creep further and further and get more intrusive.

This is a step in the wrong direction.
It’s really not at all. You have no constitutional right to drive a car on public roads

That is correct. But even with that said, that should not be a reason for the state to have the ability to do whatever they want on the road to citizens.

Again, just because something is made legal, that doesn't make it right or just. Cops can take cash and take blood from you on the side of the road... what is the next step?
