Happy father's day to all the dads. To those that have lost your dad, especially those recently, remember the good times. For those that still have their dads, don't take anything for granted and treat everyone day like it's your last one. Spend as much time as you can. Always make time for him when possible. Tell them you love'm. Goes for moms too.
Cant wait... his name is Canaan... like the promise land of Caleb in the Bible. Got any advice?
Cool name. Enjoy every minute man. The crying, diapers, spilled drinks in the floor, not going to sleep, all of it. Cause one day you'll blink your eyes, and they'll be gone. My oldest is gone to the Air Force, and I'd give anything to have her back, but life moves fast. There's way more great moments than compared to the spilling stuff, dirty diapers, etc. Just enjoy every moment, and pray for wisdom when you hit unsure moments.

This. Exactly what ibwould expect from you, too Joe. Cherish every moment, I know it sounds cliche...but you blink and he will be 17 years old like my oldest, and headed out the door. Soak up every hug, kiss, smile, tear, ballgame, church program ...Soak it up. Time flies in no other facet of life like it does parenting.
