To those of you chalking up Mizzou in the loss column

We've proven nothing thus far except we've improved as a team and now we are going to beat everybody based on teams having a bad week. With the exception of UTC and possibly Vandy, I'm not counting on anything. Yes we can compete with everyone but I'm not banking on beating UGA, UF, USC, Mizzou, Ole Miss, or even Kentucky. Florida played with Bama on the road until the 4th quarter, and Bama had an off day turning the ball over and still hung 42 on what I believe is a solid Gator defense. Mizzou looked bad today, but looked solid the last couple weeks. Teams have bad weeks but that don't mean they're not gonna fix their problems throughout the season. If that's the case, then Worley won't survive this season because our offensive line is horrible right now. It's amazing how some seem to think our team is the only team that will improve over the course of the season. We've beat Utah St. and Ark St. and then that offensive line got exposed for what many thought it was...not very good. What have we proved? Let's just take it a week at a time and hope we make continuous improvement over the course of the season. If we do that then we will go bowling and probably pull an upset or two. We might even be in the mix to take the east, but some are getting way ahead of themselves.

Haha. Yeah I know that sounded really negative but I've just learned over the years to not get ahead of myself. I want to win as much as anyone does, but have been let down too much over the years when concerning UT football. Don't get me wrong... We are on the right track and look much improved, but I'm really concerned about that offensive line. If that unit improves we could be in the picture for the east, but if they don't we could be back towards the bottom of the standings. I just like how we are going to improve but other teams aren't going to iron out their problems as the season progresses. That's what I was trying to get at.

OU playing a trap game after surviving against our Vols. USCe also in a trap game after that UGA win

As I sat in the stadium that evening, I witnessed their DL in our offensive backfield practically all night.

Winning 34-10 isn't "surviving".

645 yards against Bama and 450 yards against UK tells me that defense is not solid they are as soft as dog sh!t.

Yeah but our mess is nothing compared to B1G and AAC.

B12 has two great teams and three good teams.
ACC has one great team and 3 good teams.
Pac12 has one great team and 5-6 good teams.
B1G has one great team and 3 good teams.
SEC has 3 great teams and 8 good teams.
All other conferences/independents have two good teams.

Then you have not watched them try to defend the pass.

If Butch doesn't beat Missouri after the egg they laid tonight, I'm gonna be a little concerned. Same probably goes to FL at this point. AL and UGA are the only two teams that seem really good. May not be a nickel's worth of difference between the rest.

I think our chances for a bowl game has gone up tremendously since the beginning of the year. The East is looking more and more like its up for grabs with no one looking like they have an advantage. But Indian actually seems to have decent squad. But any East opponent loss should come with welcome arms.

I think we will win all of our remaining games now that Indiana won. It has absolutely no impact on our game when we play them.

Bama turned the ball over and STILL managed 645 yards against Florida, a record. Explain to me exactly what you think the word "solid" means. If it weren't for those turnovers Florida might have scored 14. Our defense will keep us in that game. We can definitely win it.
