To Watch CFP Final Or Not

due to the end of Fulmers time, the Kiffin Experiment, the Dooley Duldrums, the Snake Oil of Butch, the Pruit Flounder, I became as much of a fan of the sport of CFB as I am the Vols in particular. Vols are the priority, but if we aren't on, I am still watching any game I think will be half decent.
I’m the same. I turned on the Bahamas Bowl, but you won’t see me turning on the NIT

Not so sure about giving ESPN ratings for the CFP Final.

Not just I'm no fan or either school, just one can check
on the score and not boost ESPN. No big fan of hearing
Fowler and Herbstreit and their dancing when camera is
not on them when that one school scores. Biased - they is.
My worst nightmare Ohio St. vs Notre Dame, I hope they play 10 overtimes at 0-0. So Nope, I have no plans to watch this abomination

I was getting Championship game fatigue and I think a lot of people lost interest when for about 10 years you had Bama, Clemson and Georgia playing in it almost every year. Might not care for the teams but at least it is different, different is good. Looking forward to watching again.

Meh, as much as I hate to admit it- I will be watching. It's college football and after this, I will have to go into withdrawal whether I want to or not

Unrelated, I did learn something interesting today-both Matt LaFleur and Robert Saleh were on Brian Kelly's staff at Central Michigan. Out of that staff of all stars, how did we end up with Botch?

I didn’t even know Penn State and Notre Dame were actively playing until a friend reminded me sometime in the second half of that game lol. Same thing will probably happen for me this game haha

This. It’s more about the teams playing vs watching college football as a whole. If there were some first time teams / new teams I would probably watch. Not interested in two programs that are already over hyped that the press constantly reports on.

It's going to be colder than Satan's heart Monday evening. I'm definitely not going anywhere so I'm lighting up the make believe fire and watching football. Brrrrrr......

How is Ohio State overhyped? That is a really elite team, on both sides of the ball.

Of course I'm going to watch. Hopefully Notre Dame does what we couldn't.

I don't really care who wins, but was kind of hoping OSU would so we lost to the national champ, but after seeing the national media frothing at the mouth over two straight Big 10 winners, I have to say I'd prefer the odious Irish, as repulsive as that might be.

You guys and your silly manufactured grievances
Vols fans love using the ESPN hates us.
Jay Bilas hates us.
Fowler and Herbstreit hates us.

Best this University has been in all 3 major sports in years and doing well in the others and individuals still playing the victim card.

Nothing wrong about declaring as a sports consumer instead of a fan of a program. You either are or you are not down to your core, not a discretionary thing.

Ratings will be fine whether a few of us Vol Fans watch or not. If you've watched all the Vol games this year, you've already added to the ratings. Me personally, I watched it. It's football, I don't care who is or is not playing. Ended up being a pretty entertaining game.

Since I didn’t have a dog in the hunt, I lost interest in cfb after Jan 1. Maybe it’s because I grew up with NY day being the pinnacle of the season, maybe because it drug on too long. Either way I really didn’t care I turned my attention to Vols bb and Preds hockey.

It's college football, I watched no matter what. I watched just about every bowl game and betting on games help too.
