If Young plays QB for Bama, we must hit him hard and often as soon as the game starts. I am 75 years old........have had AC problems in a shoulder for years. Ultimately having a total shoulder replacement. Throwing a football with any velocity (and accurate) will take its toll on you during an entire game. Again, If he is QB, we have got to punish him for his efforts in order to win.

It would be coaching malpractice for Saban to play Young this week. Not only would he be potentially jeopardizing the kid's career, but his team's season as well. The truth is that Alabama doesn't need this game to get to Atlanta, and having Young healthy then should be the priority.

I might be wrong, but to me this looks like a classic Saban smokescreen to make UT prepare for two entirely different game plans. My guess is that they will go heavy and try to control the LOS and win with their run game, limiting UT's possessions and keeping the score down. Getting off the field on 3rd down will be the key to our chances.

You think he cares about that kids future, he would sacrifice his first born for a win over the school for the def and blind.

I hate Bama but I have nothing against BY personally, I hope he takes care of himself and only plays if HE feels good to go and is cleared for it. He is going to be tender and we’ll be hitting him hard and often if he’s out there and we can, so he better take care of himself because the dude is gonna get paid for Sundays if he doesn’t let himself get ridden into the ground.

I guess we'll find out just how threatened they feel by UT when we see who they trot out at QB Saturday. If BY doesn't play, they probably feel they have it in the bag. If he does... they KNOW they'll need all the weapons they have to win. Thats the way I see it anyway. GBO!!

AC sprains are tough, isn’t it his throwing shoulder too?
If so, then not much will be asked of him.
If Young does start, it’s for his leadership.
Doubt Saban trust Milroe much anymore, after the turnovers he committed last game.
Game plan will be simple for Bama, run run run.
They have a scary transfer RB that is lightning fast.
Punish the QB, stop the run and score more points.
Simple 😉

Woody: Thread title: To Win We Must Punish Young.
Listen here, jacksnapper, Byron Young is one of ours. We ain't beating up on him, why the audacity of you to propose that!

Reelfoot: Bryce, not Byron, you nitwit, I'm talking about B R Y C E, Bryce!

Woody: Isn't Bryce an out of date 32 bit 3D program sold by DAZ? Bamas don't even know how to use a computer, let alone the software.

Reelfoot: Dammit! Bryce Young, the Alabama quarterback. Hit him hard and often, punish him!

Woody: Oh, that Bryce. No, don't punish him, His arm needs surgery. Perform a reverse arm exchange surgery so he throws the ball backwards each time he passes. Then bill Saban for medical services and surgical fees.

If he plays, you tell Banks to try to get a couple of those personal fouls he’s so famous for. If they want to take a chance with Young, make them regret it.

Too much conversation about Bryce Young and his injury. He is on their team and if he will either play full speed, some other speed or he will not play. We will find out on the first series Saturday.

He did it with Tua vs Miss State. Up 38-7 and lost him and a chance at natty due to his self serving stance.

I agree. There’s no way he’ll be 100%. I’m 66 and had total replacement on my right shoulder back in April. I couldn’t lift a coffee cup with my right arm. My rotator cuff was shot and I had no cartilage left.

Kinda disagree. I straight up think Bryce young can’t play. Everybody that is not a bammer or former bammer is saying he’s hurt way worse than they are letting on. I don’t think he can even throw

If Young plays and he isn’t 100% then I expect they will game plan to keep him not getting hit. Quick passes. Heavy on the run game. Few deep balls, but with max protection when they do. I’d expect them to keep him almost untouchable.

C'mon, I get your enthusiasm but that's ridiculous. If Young is healthy then he'll play, and if he's not Saban isn't any less 'threatened' by UT or anyone else. This is a guy who has six national titles and a million wins, he didn't get to that point by reacting emotionally and making personnel decisions based on being threatened, scared or anything else. I guarantee they have a plan in place for whichever QB plays and fully intend on winning Saturday.
