I will be "STOKED" if he announces he is coming to UT THursday. His brother goes to UT as does one of his best friends , Cameron Clear. It's got to be looking good for the VOls!

On my ride home I heard Stokes in an interview with Gary Parrish on the radio. Stokes is announcing Thursday around 6:30. Based on the interview I would rule Memphis out. He was really praising Cal and the UK program.

I thought it was interesting that he said he was just a high school kid not getting paid yet when asked about people recognizing him out in public. Since he threw out the "getting paid yet" comment, I'm fairly confident he will announce UK.

I cant see how it makes sense for him to go to UK if he wants to play this season. Cal sens players to NBA, but he could have a season and a half to show off for NBA at UT or ARK. Also, UT just sent a player to NBA first round. If he comes in and shines, he goes to the NBA. Cousins and Wall would have been NBA 1st rd picks with or without Cal. I don't get why he gets so much credit for sending guys to NBA when many of those guys would be top 15 pick if they could go to NBA out of HS

Well said. Calipari is same game coach as Jerry Green. Differences are he is a program marketer and a A list recruiter.

Why would Stokes wanna sign with a UT basketball program that now only seems to sign mid-major level talent? That's what we got when CCM came here.

He brought the signees with him. None of our freshmen this year are D-1 level talent. I know it's what we had to settle with but still it's a fact. It's gonna be nearly impossible to get 4-5 star recruits come to Knoxville now.

Complete and utter garbage. Three of the four freshman are making positive contributions, while one is going to be a J.P. Prince type player.

I agree. I am very pleased by the guys CM has brought in. Its the inherited players that the issue is with.

To me it would make more sense for him to go to UF. He's the missing piece of what could be a special team there. But he would make any team better.
