I can't wait to see this matchup. Its gonna be a battle! Anybody else excited? I know its a ways off but how do these guys match up? Jones seems more physical with a better post game than Tobias but Tobias looks to be better at ball handling and shooting.

Jones often leads fast breaks, so I'd say he is the better ball handler. I would definitely take Tobias in a free throw shooting contest, though.

Jones is a better ball handler, hands down. Its hard to compare them, because both players have such different games. Jones game can completely take over a game, he is such a mis match. I like both of them extremely well. Jones does seem to be the more aggressive of the two so far.

He plays quite a bit more also... when scotty is hitting tobias loses shots... terrance can pull whenever he wants

Jones is adked to handle more of the load than Tobais is too. How many minutes is Jones averaging? It is hard to look at the stats because Tobais only averages 28 minutes a game(which is leading our team btw). When Jones "wants" to show up, he is a monster. He seems to get mentally flustered at times and if he is disrupted early he can kinda go into a shell and be a non-factor. He is definitely one of those players that you MUST get involved in the offense early or he can disappear. Tobais is the better on-ball defender but Jones is a helluva help defender. He is getting more blocks than I anticipated. His rebounding is ahead of TH due to his freakish athletic ability. IMO Tobais is the better "basketball player" while TJ is by far the superior athlete. I also believe that both of them are two of the very few players who can check the other and not have an immense mismatch. Both players are very, very solid with Tobais being a little more polished but T-Jones having the edge in sheer athleticism.

Tobais has been much more consistent where Jones has been playing well most of the time, but as mentioned earlier, when he gets frustrated early he pulls a Vlade Divac and disappears.

Tobias Harris is gonna butt rape Terrence Jones, send him to the hospital, and leave him to pay the bill.

Today, who would you rather have on your team?

To any UK fans, just out of curiosity, what happened to Jones against UNC, it's the only time he's been completely shut down, what did UNC do to make that happen?

They have the longest and most skilled defensive front court on the nation. Jones could muscle them inside, and just couldn't find his game. He should have taken them out on the perimeter and broken them down off the dribble, but continued to be stubborn trying to post them up.

He averages 33 minutes.

UNC can rotate 4 big guys 6'10 or taller on opposing teams post players. Zeller and Henson are not only extremely long but they are very smart players, who both average about 2 blocks a game and stay out of foul trouble. Those guys dominated Jones. Roy Williams exploited UK's weaknesses and made coaches realize T. Jones has a major weakness shooting free throws. I think you will see him fouled a lot more in order to force him to make his ft's. He really struggled against UNC and I was not impressed at all watching him. Thought Calipari was extremely outcoached by Roy.

Two excellent players. Hard to compare them, they are just different types of players. I can't say who is better or worse, but both are very good and will play basketball for a long time after college.

It would depend upon the team and supporting cast gathered around him. On UK's squad, I would have Jones without thinking twice. UT's squad certainly favors Harris' style of play more.
