quantity doesnt always equal quality

There is quality among that group too. Brimfield will be back at DT soon. They know they will not need him at DT this season so they are just seeing what he looks like at OL. He has lots of potential at DT. We also have Melancon coming back in.

Pope has been moved back to OL already.

Thanks for the Pope update. I wasn't sure if we was going to on the OL or DL. Is he playing guard or center? Who is he backing up?

They've stuck him at quite a few positions on the OL, so we'll probably find out later when he better establishes himself.

Nelson is still working on building his body up to what it needs to be a quality DT. He has the physical ability and he plays very hard. He just needs to add more weight and get stronger.

From what someone posted the other day Chase Nelson is at 280 right now. Just a few more pounds, but has the size now IMO if he is mentally ready for the game.

Last I had hear he was still in the low 270's, but you very well could be right. Plus size and strength are two different things. I mentioned he also needs to get stronger to play on the inside. But, I think he has the motor and athleticism to play down there.
