You gonna add a side of mashed potatoes?
For some reason I love a side of mashed potatoes with my meatloaf.
Of course. It's the perfect side.
Hamburger - french fries
Steak - baked potato
Meat loaf - mashed potatoes
Meat loaf sandwich (2nd day) - potato chips/french onion dip

Meatloaf & Mashed Potatoes would have widespread bi-partisan support.

LBJ (I'm in the he killed Kennedy camp) put us on the road to socialism. Kennedy would be considered middle right today.
The democrat puppets in the cathedral known as the media would be calling both JFK and RFK right wing conservatives today. Sadly their followers would accept it as truth.

The media has even been successful in convincing democrats that George W Bush is a hero now.

Media rule 32….“moderate“ Republicans CAN be considered heroes either before or after Presidential runs or congressional campaigns. While so engaged though, they are clearly Satan‘s spawn. See John McCain, Mitt Romney, and both George Bushes.
As Long as they are not an immediate threat to the left‘s power aspirations, a little false praise is allowable to give the appearance of civility. But once they become an“threat“, loose the hounds.
Poor Liz Cheney will eventually discover this once she is no longer „useful“ as a crudgel with which to bash Trump and the GOP Congress. They will drop her so quickly it will make her head spin
