I was 21, she was 20. I met her at UGA. I was a party animal, lounge lizard, and overall neer do well. One day this girl walked through the door of my apartment. That changed my life forever. One look and I knew she was the one.

I was reflecting on our anniversaries, and decided the 20th (1988) was my favorite. We checked into a hotel and exchanged gifts. She gave me a black, cashmere topcoat, and ironically, I gave her a mink coat. It was a great night.

PS: I reached in a pocket of that coat last winter and found a price tag. That damn woman paid $900 for it at Nieman Marcus in Chicago. Actually I paid for it as she is a stay at home mom.

This is the girl I married.
You definitely out kicked your coverage, my question is how did you manage to keep her fooled for 54 years, or is there a chain and a basement involved in this story ;)

Don't laugh too hard. She claimed my manners first attracted her. I was raised in the Old South to be a gentleman. From knowing which fork to use, to the proper way to escort a lady on a sidewalk. Actually, I think she craved my bod and didn't want to admit it. :)
