It would be great to even just split with mizzou & auburn though really. It will be tough to do - we wouldn't be ranked after that though, but still be nice

Including the bowl, that would put us at 9-4 and would certainly put us in a position to be ranked. Especially considering if we accomplished that, it would mean us beating two more ranked teams. Mizzu will be in the top ten tomorrow in the new poll after beating a ranked UF team and LSU, South Carolina, and Clemson all lose ahead of them.

We will be receiving some votes in this weeks poll I am sure.

According to some of the PAC-12 trolls that are on other forums (mainly some Oregon fans) they are hard done by and the SEC are overrated. Oregon may have the best team in the nation and we will see how good they are when they play Stanford and Bama in the NCG.

Yeah nothing lasts forever. Alabama, Florida,Georgia and USCe had their fun but with the emergence of AU,A&M,Mizzou, Ole Miss and UT it's gonna get interesting.

Now, I think that's a little uncalled for. Some people are fully committed to their one team, and won't give credit to any other team, let alone an in-state rival.

Being said, I am not one of those, and although I support my Vols 110% each and every day, I can still say hats off to Vandy, Ole Miss, and Mizzou... especially Mizzou. Plus, if we beat them, that just looks better for us.

very well said after going to there game last year...I lost respect for Vandy use to pull for them all the time when they didn't play the vols...but never again even when franklin packs his bags and believe me I see it being soon as he gets a better job offer

Georgia was hurt when they played the Vols. I'm not saying they were dirty hits but the Vols have hurt opposing teams best players these last couple games. Losing your best players usually leads to losses. Vandy won with a back up quarterback and several guys hurt on D!

I think UGA could very well go to the Independence Bowl. They would love a 6-6 or 7-5 Georgia team. I think UGA will lose to Florida,Auburn and could very well lose in Bobby Dodd stadium to Georgia Tech.
