Sounds like Pitt had a Hammy AD. From a year ago LOL: Pitt Football: Panthers Fans Cannot Allow AD Steve Pederson To Hire Todd Graham | Bleacher Report

"The marriage of Pitt’s athletic director Steve Pederson and Tulsa’s head football coach Todd Graham is a match made in hell. It’s easy to see why they hit it off. Both have huge egos and both will engage in self-serving actions despite how those actions may affect student-athletes, alumni and fans."

"For Graham, Pitt will be at best a short holdover. Everyone but Pitt A.D. Pederson knows he is ready to use Pitt as a steppingstone to a better BCS job."

Steve Pederson is the same one who made grandiose statements about the state of Nebraska football when he fired Frank Solich...then brought in Bill Callahan.

Matt Zemek of CFN: "It's really rather simple: The ASU in Jonesboro is a far more competently run athletic program than the ASU in Tempe."

I have no idea how a Sun Belt school gets Gus Malzahn and a preseason Top 25 school selects a guy who couldn't hack it at Pitt.

Spot on. Asu could be a great program if their ad would get their ish together, but its just never happened.

Lets not forget that Petrino left in the middle of an NFL season, something that almost never happens. Graham leaves after the regular season.

Petrino's leaving stands alone as far as douche baggery IMO.

Yes. Pitt. is not a bad city, but have you ever been to Tempe, AZ?

yeah I'm not sure Pittsburgh is in the same league as Tempe. But to be fair I live in Tempe for 7yrs after college and never lived in Pitt. Of course if women in heavy coats is your thing then I bet it's a great place

Tempe/Phoenix..... I spent a couple of months there and absolutely loved it.

Like I said Pitt is not bad, but the weather is a drag.

Depends on what's under the coat.
