I doubt the Gainesville PD are allocating resources away from the Harris sexual assault case in order to investigate a possible NCAA violation in Athens.

You must have more experience with being accused of sexual assault than I do. Because I would think that, if I'm accused of sexual assault and banned from the team, a player on another team getting suspended still isn't going to put me in the same universe as "happy".

Clinton-Dix was originally suspended indefinitely until the NCAA made their ruling. The same thing could very well happen with Gurley. Being suspended indefinitely does not mean he's out for the year.
