UCLA and Georgia were both ranked early in the season but those were not good teams...Even with Colquitt going down on the first series we should have been able to regroup and win that game. The play calling became way too conservative.

I was out there as well. I was a SR at UT and we had a room at the Ritz in Pasadena. It was such a cool trip.

I remember a few hits in the game but I had some classes with Colquitt (we weren't friends) and I wanted him to succeed so badly. That was sad.

Got tickets from big 84! It was his first year of significant PT. I also went to Athens the next week. Fun to watch Bubba Miller anchor the line!

I knew Jerry. He's a great guy and it was sad to see him go down.

I went to UGA the next week as well. How in the hell I had the funds to go to those 2 games back to back I have no idea. :crazy:

Free tickets helped me. Hell I am sure I maxed out a credit card I got in the presidential courtyard for a 2ltr coke lol:

By the way, Shane Burton was one of the largest men I had ever seen. I remember he walked into a class I was in, in Glocker and he had to duck to get in the door.
