Lets not forget Condrege Holloway. He was a first round selection out of high school (#1 overall, I believe) by the Montreal Expos. I don't think he ever played at UT though.

Word on the street here is that it is far from a done deal..but apparently the hang up isn't in the primary trade .. .it is in the secondaries

Like I said, because the Sox weren't giving up nearly enough to make this happen. If they had included Craig Hansen it would have been done but for some reason they are enamored with the guy because he throws 96 mph, with no movement or any other pitch. If they had a quality closer it would have happened and Helton would have played for a winner.

I guess it's good for my Diamondbacks.... :)

But I will wait until it is true... They do have cap room to blow.

can the mods do me a huge favor? even though it's been up a few days now i still freak out everytime i see "TODD HELTON TRADED" thinking he truly is traded this time. can we rename the thread, "Helton on trade block" or something? i know i'm a measly nothing compared to the mods, so if my request is overlooked, i understand. :worship:
