Both weirdos, but both great actors. I would call it a tie

lol

I'm not sure who I'd pick either. Leonardo Dicaprio might be a little better but Tom Cruise has done a couple more good movies.

BTW, I agree Tom Cruise is weird. I Don't recall Leonardo Dicaprio doing anything that weird though. Aside from looking like a drug addict who dumps super models. I suppose I might too if I were in his shoes though. Strange is always fun.

No Taps for TC? Cmon man. Srs tread not so srs.

Came out 5 years before I was born. Not sure I've ever seen it. FWIW, I think every movie listed was rated higher by users. Except for War Of The Worlds which was a tie. Not that a lot of those votes even matter. I'm sure Twlight and Hannah Montana are probably 9 out of 10.

I'll have to check out Taps. Has Sean Penn I see.

Also, Days of Thunder was the lowest rated movie at 5.5. Are people crazy? I love Days of Thunder.

I really don't think Cruise is that great an actor - Ben Affleck level if you ask me.

So you're saying Tom Cruise is awful?

That's crazier than cheering for both Tennessee and Kentucky. :loco:

For real. It's not even close. Though TC has done some cool movies (A Few Good Men, Far and Away, The Last Samurai, Minority Report, Vanilla Sky), Leo has range and has done better movies.

The Departed (IMO, 2nd best movie of all time)
Shutter Island
Blood Diamond
Catch Me if You Can
Gangs of New York
Inception (though I think that movie is over-appreciated)
Aviator (not a great movie, but Leo was great)

I agree Leo is probably the better actor but I'm not sure I agree he has done better movies. I thought Inception was bad, Shutter Island was overrated and I don't even remember Aviator.

Leonardo Dicaprio(12 years younger) has more time left to pass him but for now, I think there are more Tom Cruise movies I enjoy.

I guess I'm just a bigger Tom Cruise fan than some. I don't really like the guy in real life. I just think he is a good actor and has a lot of movies I like.

Vanilla Sky is tight. Definitely his best. Far and Away is easily the most tolerable chick flick ever made and he did a decent Irish accent. Leo was Billy Costigan and nailed it. IMO, one of the coolest characters in the history of cinema. That alone gives him the edge over TC.

This. But i still like Dicaprio better. I cant take Tom Cruise seriously anymore, and i can't do anything but take Leo seriously. The Basketball Diaries... Boom!

There's no question that Leo is the better actor. Only longevity and infant blood (or whatever else Scientologists do) have kept TC relevant these days. They WILL eventually run out of mission impossible sequels.
