The last LD movie I watched was Shutter Island.

It sucked much more than Mission Impossible 3.
Inception and the Departed are both better than anything Cruise has done recently. I'd probably throw Shutter Island in there, too.

I really don't think Cruise is that great an actor - Ben Affleck level if you ask me.

This is incredible crap its not even funny.
Top gun, a few good men should have won that oscar, jack reacher, collateral, jerry maguire, cocktails, mi2 did all his own stunts with very plausible action scenes as opposed to the cheap crap, the color of money, risky buisness, war of the worlds I could go on.

The man has a superior resume than the guy that never should have been cast as daredevil.

Cruise is a amazing first rate actor one of the best. He's so far above Affleck its like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford Mustang.

Cruise is above Decaprio in regards to the resume of more great or good movies.

Both are great actors but Cruise I think has a better resume, and his charisma level is marvelous.

Top gun is one of the best so is A Few Good Men.

LD much better actor. TC better movies. Top GUN ends the debate.

This is a matter of preference so it'll always a endless debate like who is better batman or superman.

As opposed to Jay Cutler vs Brett Farve which is cut and dry Brett wins easily by 50,000 miles.

Tom is nuttier than an elephant terd but is the better actor of the two. I used to regard Leo as a punk but dude has world class game. Doesn't he roll with a platoon of super models 24x7 nowadays??

TC has been in good movies but he always plays TC.

Leo changes it up with each role.

I've never seen TC change his accent for a role either. In 2006 Leo did Afrikaans in Blood Diamond AND a thick Boston accent in The Departed.

Lord have mercy how did I let myself get drug into this asinine thread.

He attempted an Irish accent in Far And Away. I can see why he's never tried one since. Also I THINK he spoke with an accent in Interview With A Vampire and Valkyrie.

Besides, I don't think that's necessarily quentessential in determining someone's acting ability. It just means they're not as diverse. Tom Cruise isn't a bad actor, he's just sort of one-dimensional like Kevin Costner or Hugh Grant.

You guys should be ashamed. You're polling dudes instead of women. Masculinity not withstanding in this thread. :)
