I just can't imagine not getting respect for beating Ball State and Western Ky in back to back weeks... :birgits_giggle:

Say what you want about Auburn's schedule . . . Two years ago the AD was on a plane to Louisville to talk to Bobby Petrino then last year the team was good, the schedule was soft and everything was suddenly rosy again in Auburn, AL.

While Tuberville may be right about the general state of sport shows, he should shut his trap about Holtz. It's hard to retain credibility when you call out the 8th winningest coach in history.

And as far as cracking on his winning, or lack thereof in the SEC, Holtz's wins and winning percentage were better than TT's while at a similar (though still better) Ole Miss.

Frankly, TT would be better served spending his time on figuring out a way to beat juggernauts like Ga. Tech.

Funny how every team that granny clampet builds into a winner winds up under investigation as soon as he leaves. Yeah, Lou has coached some of the best teams that money can buy :D

As much as I agree with TT on this subject, I think that at this point he's really just venting on last year's snubbing.  But he continues to schedule these cupcake games so that his team can have the pleasure of putting a whooping on some little next-to-high school teams.  If he were to upgrade AU's schedule to include some non-conference teams that were more nationally recognized, they just might get some respect. :matrix:

It'll be interesting to see if you still feel the same way if your Tide goes undefeated and gets snubbed the same way that AU did last year. MTSU and Utah St ain't exactly MNC contenders yah know. Something tells me though that if that happens, the tide fans will start claiming thirteen :D
