Has it been established that we have an OL that can give the QB enough time to throw the ball to one of these studs.

I think most believe the running back position will slow down the pressure on the QBs. We have studs at both WR and Rb for the first time in years. Add a little experience and good times are here again.

Character is only important in the off-season. When the game is on the line, and with the last 6 seasons UT has had, most fans wouldn't care if UT had ax murderers on the team.

However, in the off-season, we've got to run a tight ship!

Did somebody say axe murderer?

I'm sure North, Malone, and Pearson LOVED hearing Bajakian say he just wants a game manager at QB...lol

As long as the staff doesn't take the Urban Meyer "discipline and ethics" route.

He had Tebow to counter-balance everything. :)

But seriously, I doubt UF is willing to give back those titles while Meyer was there. And let's not cast stones, didn't Dwayne Goodrich help UT to a title in 1998?

I prefer this Mike Myers! :)

What do you think? All 5 will be new SEC starters. Of course it hasn't been established. However, Butch and Mahoney have a nice track record with OLs. Can only be hopeful at this point.

He's not a real threat Vic will take his PT when he arrives. Josh should have been at UT on scholarship. Heck Croom moved pass him as last season progressed. Good kid just not SEC talent.

lol, what are you basing this off of? Josh smith was open ALOT last year and just struggled catching the ball. But guess what, he's a true freshman and that does happen sometimes. I dont know if vic is going to take his position or not, i suppose it could happen, but as of right now vic is still in highschool and josh smith is going thru spring training at Tennessee. Lets temper down the expectations a little bit and show just a touch of appreciation for one of our football players, i know its kindve hard to imagine he'll ever do anything at all in football after not even finishing top 5 for the biletnikoff as a true freshman but i feel like he might still have a chance.

He was the fastest reciever on the team last year. He did have some issues with drops, but be was starting as a true freshmen. Smdh... The only reason Croom started getting Smiths pt is because smith was hurt. I assure you that if he wasn't "sec' talent"he wouldn't of been on the field as a true freshmen.

In all fairness, our WR corps last year was borderline atrocious as a whole. North, who was a RB/QB in high school, was the only guy who even looked the part of an SEC WR athletically and physically.

He has toget control of his emotions/nerves on the field IMO. The coaches said he had the best hands in the team during practices, which I have no reason to not believe, but he had by far the worst hands on Gameday, which is saying something. I'm certain it was because of nerves. Hope he gets those issues ironed out and can contribute this year and provide depth at slot and wideout positions. Has no chance of starting over North, Pearson and (soon) Malone IMO, but he can definitely contribute because of his route running and ability to get open.... just needs to calm down and catch the ball on Saturdays.

BAJAKIAN: We are going to ask them to manage the game. We talk about incomplete passes being similar to turnovers.

I hope we can find a guy who "manages a game" like say AJ McCarron at Bama..... 58 tds vs 10 ints the last 2 seasons.
