Tons of love...

Getting tons of high fives and good comments in my Nike Power T orange t-shirt from the FSU folks in Camping World Stadium tonight.

They want to play us in January.

GBO!
We could very much be watching game one of two between the teams playing tonight, but I prefer a rematch of the teams of ‘98.

LSU is overrated just like the end of the season last year. They are good but not great.

Time will tell with FSU, but they should win the ACC. I think Clemson is taking some steps back.

Yeah, after watching the game, I feel as though I might have spoken too soon. This doesn’t hurt LSU’s playoff hopes from a W/L perspective. FSU looks legit.

Are you kidding? A 21 point loss hurts anyone’s playoff chances.
Why doesn't it?

I think I get what he's saying. LSU still completely control their own destiny, including getting into the playoffs. Which you can certainly do at 11-1, especially if you go on to 12-1 as the SEC champ.

I think that's all he meant.

I think a week one loss to a top caliber team won't end up hurting them at all if they run the table and win the SEC. I don't think they'll do that, but if they did, I think they'd be in easy. The SEC champion has basically had an automatic berth, whether it's official or not.

I’ll be shocked if LSU loses three or less regular season games.

FSU handled the Tigers to be sure…but am I the only one who thought that game was a slopfest on both sides? They have a nice QB, but I don’t see FSU making the playoff without vast improvement.

Early season loss to a ranked opponent doesn't sting as much if LSU fixes their mistakes and go on a winning streak.
Say they win out other than a close loss to Bama. Last night could be the difference between being in the playoff conversation or not.

Don't they remember what happened to the last ACC champion we played?

LSU IMO has so many chances the first half got all the ref calls & in the red zone 5 times and didn’t capitalize. It would not surprise me a bit if LSU loses 3 to 4 games this season. They may even have a QB controversy brewing.

Because it doesn’t impact their SEC record. If they win the West and SEC, they will make it to the playoffs. Especially if FSU goes.
I assume you mean if they win all of their remaining games? If you lose twice, it's up in the air ... even for an SEC Champion, in the current 4 team playoff format.

... but there is no way that LSU is beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa. So, it's a moot point.
