LSU IMO has so many chances the first half got all the ref calls & in the red zone 5 times and didn’t capitalize. It would not surprise me a bit if LSU loses 3 to 4 games this season. They may even have a QB controversy brewing.
Agreed. It doesn't appear as though they have improved at all from last season.

FSU handled the Tigers to be sure…but am I the only one who thought that game was a slopfest on both sides? They have a nice QB, but I don’t see FSU making the playoff without vast improvement.

If they win the ACC they're in...who (other than FSU) so you think will win it?

Wasn’t my point to prognosticate. Too far out for me to say. I was only pointing my perception of a particularly sloppy football game by both sides, right up until FSU pulled away late.

I assume you mean if they win all of their remaining games? If you lose twice, it's up in the air ... even for an SEC Champion, in the current 4 team playoff format.

... but there is no way that LSU is beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa. So, it's a moot point.
Stranger things have happened. The road to the final for for LSU still runs through Alabama. Two West teams would not get in with Georgia, and perhaps Tennessee, in the East. Until they lose to Bama, the point isn’t moot.

FSU has always liked us because of our mutual hatred of the Gators

Exactly.

For the most part, we really don't go after many of the same recruits. Our "recent" series history was a close game for all the marbles which was well fought on both sides. Not really much there to really get upset with us about.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that

I'll bet you would've said the same thing about Colorado beating TCU this past weekend.
😂 Winning one game isn’t as difficult as facing a sec schedule. Never been that impressed with tcu honestly. Last year they really had a lot fall right to get to the last game of the playoffs.

Way weirder things have happened. LSU winning the west still doesn't seem all that strange to me.

Every team needs to improve I’m not tryna be smart but who did you see this week that would make the playoffs with no improvement ?? I watched a lot of games all weekend and a lot of sloppy play in week 1 it’s the nature of sports. Not saying fsu will or Won’t but teams who peak too soon often fail to reach their potential…

My only point was exactly that…FSU will have to improve mightily to get to the playoff. I was not impressed by them outside of their QB. Same for LSU, SCjr, Clemson and a few others. It was an extremely sloppy game (on both sides) right up until mid-4th quarter when the Noles pulled away. I’m just stating that they seem to me to be way overrated by the media for the LSU win. We are likely to find out the Tigers just aren’t all that either. Sorry if that bothers you.

Nice screename by the way. I’m flattered.

I’ll be shocked if LSU loses three or less regular season games.
Can’t ever take much from week one. You get a lot of over reactions to everything typically. LSU is talented and theres plenty of reason to think they can rebound from this
