Was saying that he never recruited a player that was already committed elsewhere and Pearl never did either...lol yeah I bet. Then he starts whining about how they had Josh Selby committed and that everyone else should have backed off him. Then he said the same thing with Craft.

He is a sg in a pg's body. Has AI's height and attitude, but has nowhere close to AI's talent. So no one else in the NBA wanted to give him a chance.

If he isn't being asked a question related to scheduling, everything this dude says goes in one ear and out the other with me.

That's a lie. We switched Scotty Hopson from Miss State

IIRC, Scotty decommitted from MSU and was uncommitted for a period of time. Not saying Tennessee didn't pursue him as an MSU commit, and that led to him decommitting. But he was essentially "on the open market" between commitments.

For the record though, I think there is a difference in staying in contact with a committed recruit, and actively pursuing a committed recruit. You never want to terminate contact with a recruit you'd like to have, especially one who commits as early as SH did to MSU. Coaching changes, NCAA violations, etc., can lead them to opening back up. Schools that continue to maintain a relationship will get the first call most times.

Last time I talked to him he was just hired to work for Humana in Louisville. Told me he thought Pearl would end up at Clemson. That was about a month ago.

Good ol' Tony. Is it any wonder that he hasn't found a job after his Alcoa HS coaching gig? Forbes and Shay have moved on after their show cause. Why? Because they could coach. Tony was and still is a charlatan. Unless Pearl gives him a gig, he'll be out of coaching college hoops for a long time.

For the Josh Shelby question he was just cut by his Euro team due to injury. He's was avg 6.5 points I believe through 3 games.

I forgot about Clemson possibly needing a new coach and also DePaul might need one...Bama fans thinking BP would end up there are crazy

both of those Tony's are clowns. Still wondering why Marlon Walls didn't either sue or beat the crap out of Basilio for saying he was the one who attacked the officer on Cumberland and "the police know". So fos.

He was going to sign in the early signing period (Nov. of 2007), but the night before signing day, he decided he wasn't ready to sign and wanted to wait until the spring period (April of 2008).

He committed to Tennessee on April 1, 2008 over Kentucky, Texas, and Mississippi St.
