Tony should be a real hit for the Alcoa pep rallies. He'll have the whole school waving their hands from side to side as 'Jump Around' is blasting over the intercom.

Don't you know that all of the Pearl staff are destined to fail at whatever they try to do in their lives? I mean, there's no chance of them ever doing anything positive for themselves or the community. We should probably just absolutely bash every single thing they do. That seems like the noble and respectful thing for us to do.

Yeah, I've been proven so wrong about the character of Pearl and his minions. Just because people like you look stupid for believing in them is no reason to quit calling them what they are.

I think we need to wait for the full story before we put him in the same league as Kiffin. And I'm confident neither Alcoa nor the state for that matter would hire him if they thought he'd rape little h.s. girls. You can bet Haslam knows what's going on and he'd shoot it down if he felt this was a bad move.

Same league? Pearl is in a whole lot more trouble than Kiffin is.

Actually, considering that one got a promotion while the other straight up lied to his bosses and got fired, in some ways they're opposites.

I really, really hope that Hat is wrong in this case - being from the Maryville area, I'd hate to see any local program have problems like that. Having a strong team makes the other teams better.

'Course, as we used to say when I was in high school, this will really test his recruiting skills to get the best players in the state to play for him ;-).

I was eluding more to the frat party girls he was hanging out with but at least (i think) they were over 18. More to come...

I agree with this. The guy used to hit on an ex-gf of mine who was a bartender and the kind of stuff he would ask her was insane. I lost all respect for him a long time ago.

Exactly what is there about him that causes you to think he is an inappropriate representative for high school coaching? If you wouldn't want your son to play for him as an ex-college level coach, he must have some very serious character flaws. You really need to elaborate if you are going to make these type of character assassinations.
