Tony Romo feels like money

Passer rating is such an arbitrary stat, INT% is a good one. I agree that Romo is better than Smith, but he's not taking them anywhere. I think they trade Romo for draft picks, use one of those draft picks to trade for Ryan Mallett, or someone like that, and start building for the future. If Mallett sucks, take a QB next year, etc.

I wouldn't want to get significantly worse at the QB position so Jerry could have more draft picks to botch.

So get rid of a good QB to search for one year in and year out. Aight.

It would be 2001-2005 all over again.

Yes Dallas overpaid a little. Even if they overpaid by 20 million it's less than 5 mil per year. And then they'll just renegotiate in 2-3 years anyway.

He has a bad reputation for making mistakes when it counts (well earned), but he's still better than most. We haven't had many playoff wins with Romo, but there are other problems on the team that contribute to that more than him probably.

Bingo. Romo wins quite a few games on his own, but only gets credit for the losses.

Do they want to go 9-7 or do they want to go to the SB? Paying Romo this absurd contract just made a SB a lot harder.

There are worse QBs than Romo but is one career play-off win really worth Manning/Brady money?

What evs... It Jerruh's money, not mine. He can over pay who ever he wants.
