Tony Wroten Announces A Favorite.

It's Syracuse. Tennessee is nowhere to be found on his list. So much for that pipe dream that was hyped around here.

Who cares? You sound almost giddy over the fact he isn't coming here. So some people were delusional concerning his college choice. Big deal. Does it make you feel better to say, "Told you so", to the minions here on VN?

I sure hope MM realizes that nobody mandates his presence here. Why must he show up and ruin all of these threads?

That would be a great story if it were anywhere CLOSE to being true.

I've never spoken to Tony Wroten in any fashion.

Wroten does not have an offer from UK and won't have one until he's evaluated by Cal which won't happen till July. That's what I've said. I've never said it TO Wroten and have never spoken to or heard from Tony Wroten.

But why let facts get in the way of a good story!

mm

KSR said it was true.

I saw on Espn, CNN, and MSNBC, that Marc faggard was in nashville trying to pose as someone who lost their house to get charity, because his "business" is floundering. TIFWIW.

JC

I won't lie. I laughed. Sometimes the grade school zingers are the best.

Does anyone realize what a dbag it takes to have the "pro" and "anti" Pearl crowd agree on anything? MM is that dbag.

"Tony Wroten hasn’t committed to Kentucky quite yet, but he sure sounds like he wants to.

Wroten a 6-foot-6, 205-pound point guard out of Seattle (Wash.) Garfield, says Kentucky is “on top right now.”

He also listed Villanova, Washington, UConn and St. John’s.

Gilchrist and Teague are pitching the attributes of the dribble-drive offense and working on getting Wroten to join them in what could be the strongest recruiting class in the history of college basketball.

“Yeah, he’s going to Kentucky,” Teague yelled into the phone as Wroten spoke with a reporter.

He said he and Teague could be as good as — or “even better” than — Kentucky’s backcourt from last year of John Wall and Eric Bledsoe. Wall is the projected No. 1 pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft.

“They did it, so we can do it,” Wroten said of two point guards playing together in the backcourt."

Wow. This kid is a player. Watching the Jordan Brand Classic.... he's the best player on the floor right now. Really didn't see that coming, but he's legit.

You'll be hearing his name quite a bit the next few years at UW and eventually the NBA.
