I'm warming up to the CB's with Hadden in the mix. Williams seems to be playing well which is to say I haven't noticed a bunch of open guys catching the ball in his area when he's in. Charles continues to improve.I would normally agree with you, but as I mentioned in my comment, with Tillman back as well as at least Hadden and probably JM, we are a whole different team. Granted Hadden and JM aren’t world beaters, but Hadden is our best cover corner while JM is our most experienced DB.
I don’t disagree with that. Slaughter is an upgrade talent wise. JMs bonus is he knows where he is supposed to be at the right time and has the best understanding of the defense, from what I’ve seen and heard.I'm warming up to the CB's with Hadden in the mix. Hate to say it but JM's absence may have let a better player get on the field to prove it.
My favorite moment of the game was our fans celebrating juxtaposed with Alabama players slowly walking with their heads down. The numbers on their helmet serving as a perfect reminder of how they are anonymous, disposable and totally meaningless as individuals in the context of their program. It was a perfect reminder of how different our programs are in their natural state. Tennessee is fully of vitality and joy even after some lean years. We sing Rocky Top. They sing Rammer Jammer. Even in the best of times Alabama is essentially the college football equivalent of a North Korean penal colony. He's dejected. Tennessee is having fun, while Henry signed up for the Saban's regime.
No one forced him to take illegal benefits either. If you’re going to do that stuff at least have the intelligence to keep your damn mouth shut. Bama isn’t afraid to put the guy up as a spectacle every time they face Tennessee. Well guess what Tennessee fans aren’t afraid to make a spectacle out of the turncoat loser either. No one forced him to go to Bama.
