What part because I'm from here too?

South Alabama, Sweet Water to be exact. Sweet Water stand up! Lol. But, I've been all around playing baseball. I think we had a similar conversation earlier and found out we knew some of the same ppl thru your experiences with football like Corey White, Nick White, DeMeco and some others.

Janoris was tabbed for a mid-first round pick in this years draft. Are you saying Janzen could be rated better? If so, I'd love to see it. You might want to check the last time a receiver put up big numbers on Janoris, or even our entire defense. I can't remember a Julio Jones, A.J. Green or Alshon Jeffery putting up big numbers at all.

I don't think that can be said for Janzen or Tennessee.

I just need you to explain to me how Janoris isn't #1? He was the 2nd or 3rd best cover corner in the nation last season, and a 1st round pick. He's returning. What happened?

Since we're talking about things that can and can't be said let's start with it can't be said that Janzen ran a 4.7(check his profile) coming out of high school or is short for a corner but those same things CAN be said for Janoris. Janzen is and always has been an elite corner forced to play safety out of needs. The same can not be said about Janoris. Janoris had the luxury of having played with some 'elite' defensive talent (so says Rivals and all the other scouting services) Janzen....well you get the picture.

The fact of the matter is when you play with better players especially along the defensive line, who consistenly get pressure, you're going to have better numbers against the Julio's and the Alshon's of the world.

If one could do it all Cliff Lee wouldn't have joined the Phillies nor Lebron the Heat.

The same thing that happened to Jake Locker and Ryan Mallett. Had he stayed in the draft his stock would have dropped. How many times have Mel Kiper's and Todd McShay's draft boards changed since football ended?!

And, ask Arian Foster what having a high draft grade (2nd round) and coming back does for you.

Based on what? Because it seems to me you're talking out of your ass.

All signs pointed to him being the 2nd or 3rd corner taken. Being that CC are coveted in the NFL, he wouldn't have made it out of the 1st.

That's a laugh. We had one of our worst defensive years ever this year, especially on the defensive line and pressuring the QB. Even so, no high-profile receiver put up anything close to good yardage against us, due in large part to Janoris. Maybe we're both looking through our respective colored glasses but Janzen over Janoris is still a bit of a stretch.

Seeing as how you're the only proctologist with the gift of gab in the building, I'll leave the rectum and anus conversations to you.

IMO, Janoris is a good college corner who is most effective as a boundary corner not a cover corner. This may be attributed to the fact that he does not possess elite speed. Do yourself a favor and go back and look at the sheer number of times he is placed on the short side of the field where he can use the sideline as another defender as opposed to the number of times he is on the wide side of the field. In the rare event that he was on the wide side of the field, he often blitzed.

Because of this and his recent off the field troubles, he would have to test well. IMO.

Do you remember the Arkansas WRs punishing Jenkins? Also why didn't he leave since he got such a high grade? Because he got bad feedback in his initial tests that's why. Stop BSing me. You guys were letting Matt Simms air you out earlier this year. Then on top of that you play a lot of Check 2 man. Which is a coverage that baby sits corners. Didn't Florida State air ya'll out too? I don't know why you guys act as if you have the greatest defense on the planet. And why was Janoris Jenkins getting PIs against Jeffrey? Also another thing is in the SCAR game had you all stopped Lattimore maybe they would have kept going at Jenkins on every third down. Jenkins is a good player but don't put him in Patrick Peterson or even Cliff Harris's zip code.

SN: Janzen Jackson will be a better CB than Jenkins. Yeah I said it.....

Cliff Harris is all that needs to be said.

Come on dude....no one said he's better than PP or Cliff but he held his own against Julio/AJ btw ALL the UT DBs got azz raped against SC/UGA. He didn't get a bad draft grade but the injury would have made him slip out of the first round that why he had surgery and came back.

I'd like to see what would happen with Janzen lining up at CB every down across from SC/UGA. And we actually didn't do too bad against Jeffrey until the 4th. Julio blasted us though. But the other guy was wondering why Janoris wasn't No.1.... he's a good player and all but I made the list according to what I like in a DB. What is your Top 10 sir?

stop looking after Greg Reid over J#1! lmao Reid isn't even Top 2 on his own team.

Although i simply despise ANYTHING gator, he is correct as Reid is probably our 3rd best CB. Although he is the 2nd starter, Mike Harris will more than likely surpass him. Xavier Rhodes is our #1 CB and is definately top 10 in the country. Reid is our most explosive CB with added incentive as punt/kick returner. Just my two cents anyways..

Greg Reid is a baller. I look forward to seeing what he can do this season.
JJ's biggest problem is he doesn't always look to wrap up. That is more of a maturity problem than a physical problem. Other than that, though, he's got crazy skills. Definitely worthy of being top 5
As for Janoris, I'm sure he'll prove all the naysayers wrong at North Alabama this year. Big year upcoming for the Lions.

I wouldn't put Janzen in my top 10. Does he have the ability to be top 10? Yes. Does he have to work ethic? No.

I am still having nightmares about what Reid did to Lattimore.
