Lighten up. Take it with a grain of salt and realize it's humor with a little truth, well maybe a lot of truth. It's funny to me. Just because we've been down don't let every small thing upset you. Everyone doesn't hate "Tennessee" and certainly not Clay. Relax and sip a little corn from a jar if you need it. It's almost "Football Time in Tennessee!"

When I read this yesterday, I wondered how long it would be till somebody angrily posted something about it over here. People take stuff way too seriously, but if they would keep following his columns, he's going to be making the same kind of jokes about our rivals in the coming days. For those who don't regularly read his column, he has said numerous times that Alabama football fans and Kentucky basketball fans are the dumbest fanbases in the country, so spoiler alert, they're going to be #1 and #2.

It's actually a pretty funny article. The only reason anyone has to be upset is if you are the prototypical idiot fan he describes.

thing is, a person can be funny without being crude and insulting. Clay chooses to be both and fails at being funny. His claim to be a UT fan is simply about convenience

he also might want to realize that some of those he makes fun of actually have a hand in him keeping his job. Once they wise up and tune out he'll be left without an audience

Why do you let this guy bother you? The second I realized he's just a ratings whore, was the second I could stand listening to him on the radio again.

You take offense to being called the 10th dumbest fanbase, yet you click on a link called: "the-ten-dumbest-fan-bases-in-america-10-the-university-of-tennessee".

It was a gratuitous inclusion of the Vols. If he doesnt put them in people say he's a homer. If he includes them people say he hates UT.

So its lose-lose for Clay? nope. Either way people are talking about him and that's what he wants as a radio whore.

He just doesn't bother me. At least his Vols fandom doesn't bother me. It's clear that there's a direct correlation between site traffic for OKTC and "poking" this and other related fanbases.

Yes, and the "Goodlettsville Douchebag" is on the radio every afternoon in Nashville. The thing about him is I can't keep from listening just to hear the next stupid or funny thing that pops out of his mouth. He will be on some national show with Erin Andrews soon, how long before he says something off color to her or lets something pop out of his mouth that gets him fired? My guess is not long.

I don't understand why people even concern themselves with what he says. He's the equivalent of a Bleacher Report blogger - maybe not even that successful.

Pretty sure those that are offended will LOL at #s 9-1 when they come out and suddenly become CT fans for "finally telling the truth".
