Yeah... averaging over 57 points per game is pretty solid no matter who your opponent is.
Chase Daniel is playing out of his mind (last 13 posessions... 12 tds, 1 fg), and the only reason i have Sanchez above him is the huge performance in the huge win.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the Tigers. However, Oklahoma would beat Mizzou with relative ease most of the time.

Yeahhhhh i was just looking at that... haha that's my fault on jumping all over Mizzou for it.
Neither of them has played unreal competition, and they don't play in the regular season.
Either of them could be in the 2 spot, I was just impressed with how well Missouri has played. Not that the Sooners have played particularly bad.

I get your point absolutely.. do you think Oklahoma would beat them this year?

It would take a great performance from their defense. If they were playing tomorrow though, my money would be on the Sooners.

That's completely reasonable.. i wouldn't be confident picking that game either way. I hope we get the chance to see them play without a doubt.

How good is Oklahoma's defense? i know with bradford and murray and everybody, they'll get in a rhythm and tear other teams apart. I'm not questioning whether their defense is good, just wondering what you (or anyone?) thinks about it?

What I wouldn't give to have Chase Daniel at QB here in Knoxville - he's amazing. I've seen him play three times in person, and I'm always impressed.

The doubt surrounding Missouri is warranted, but I think some folks here take it too far. I realize they're the new kid on the block, but saying they would "get trounced across the SEC" and that they shouldn't be ahead of "many in the top 25" is ludicrous. I know both of those comments came from one person, but really? That's just funny.

I sincerely hope Mizzou proves everybody wrong. It looks as if the bad game against OU in the Big XII championship is all most people can remember from last season, which is a shame.

wanna remind me how those high powered offensive teams with absolutely no defense fare when they play real football teams?

Considering Oklahoma has done the same against better competition shows how much you have to learn.

Just because Oklahoma has done it doesn't mean Missouri is exactly bad. This early, a spot or two in the polls isn't going to make that much of a difference.

Missouri beat a ranked team, did they not?

OU combined opponent's record: 2-5
Mizzou's: 4-6

Both of Nevada's losses, Mizzou's most recent ass kicking, are to ranked teams. (L to TTU 35-19)

All three of Washington's losses are to ranked teams. Barely lost to BYU, (L to Oregon 44-10)

Margins of victory (avg) favors OU by a little.
Oklahoma: 40.67
Missouri: 37.67

I haven't seen OU play as much, and i don't think they have scored on each of their last 13 posessions, including 12 of those being touchdowns.

Truth is, we don't know exactly how good their opponents are at this point. Missouri has beaten a ranked team, though.

Missouri's offense is lighting things up, but I definitely understand why people have OU ranked higher, won't argue against it... but don't be a dick for someone giving their opinion.

he's nothing but a flat out classless douche. last year when they put a good beating on UCF (I think) he came out and said "They're lucky we pulled out the starters because we would have killed. I mean come on, we're just that good and they're that bad".

*That's not an exact quote but something close to it*
